About the role
**Job Description – Purchasing Clerk** We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Purchasing Clerk to assist with daily procurement activities. The role involves handling purchase orders, obtaining supplier quotations, monitoring material deliveries, maintaining purchasing records, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth purchasing operations.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to monitor material requirements and stock levels.
  • Verify purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
  • Assist in resolving material shortages, incorrect deliveries, and defective goods.
  • Maintain updated supplier information and prepare purchasing reports.
Requirements
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Able to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
